That is soooo valuable in itself because being treated as someone who is important in others’ lives fulfills one of our greatest needs—to feel we have an impact on others.
If you wonder what might be noticed by others and you have not noticed in yourself, try these ideas:

- Ask friends what your best quality is.
- What did you love to do as a child?
- Explore in a journal writing spontaneously about who you are.
- Look around your home – what books, collections, music do you enjoy?
- What do people say when they give you a compliment?
Better yet, ask yourself—”What gives my life meaning or purpose?” When you get the answer and it may give you a clue about where you excel.
