Positive Vibrations in a World Gone Crazy
How Does One Stay Positive?
Many of you are facing great challenges—your work slowing down or even closing, your children not going to school, your worry about not feeling well, and then there is your concern for family and friends. It can be overwhelming at the least.
Unfortunately, most people will start to fight themselves about feeling negative and that only increases the negativity. You will do that because as a society we are led to believe we need to stay positive all the time—and that simply is not realistic. However, there is a way out.
Have you heard Robert Frost’s saying, “the only way out is through?” This is the best encouragement I could give you—stop fighting yourself and take control of your thoughts and feelings.
Becoming Emotionally Strong
If anything good can come out of this pandemic, it is the opportunity to examine your negative vibes and what triggers them. Let’s back up bit to explore what may be the root of your negativity.
As children, we don’t have the concepts or language to process what is going on in our families. The messages you may have landed on came from a lack of understanding or a deep misunderstanding, especially if your family had dysfunctional issues.
What happens is those messages becomes unconscious and as adults they can still affect you. They are triggered when you feel similar reactions to current challenges.
The reason you can get stuck in times like these is because part of it is what is going on currently and part of it is the old, unconscious baggage that has been triggered and has come back up.
Back to “The Only Way Out is Through”
Knowing the backstory of your negativity can help you to feel your negative worries and concerns without so much intensity. You then start to become emotionally strong and able to make decisions easier and start moving forward.
Even more valuable is if at any time you feel overly worried or concerned that you ask yourself, “What is it I need to understand to get out of this mode?” You will get answers and then are free forever.
One Last Question – How Do You Get the Answers?
This is a topic for another day. However, if you aren’t used to getting intuitive hits out of the blue in answer to your questions, I would offer encouragement to explore it. Ask yourself questions and see if you are getting answers—by an inner voice, something you’ve read or seen, or find an oracle (another topic for another day) to guide you.
Yes, you can find a positive vibration even these days.
