Happy Birthday Gratitude

Today is my 77th birthday. Rather than write my twice a month blog, I would like to share how grateful I am to be alive and well.

My life has certainly had its ups and downs especially early on. However, it all led me to all of you because my mission became to learn the meaning of love and how to express it. I love you!! Thank you, God.

Many, many were my mistakes right and left—falling on my face hundreds, if not thousands of times. I’m grateful for the many people in my life who loved me anyway and encouraged me to keep moving on. Thank you all.

My journey has included being a self-help junkie and research addict. I’m so grateful for all the teachers, speakers, and authors before me who opened a new world of peace and freedom for me. Thank you, creatives.

At 77 I’m active and a senior bodybuilder. I’m so grateful for my awesome body even with all its bumps, scars, and stretched out skin. My body just keeps on truckin’. Thank you, body.

To my family and friends: you all have given me so much. Your connections have warmed my heart and spirit.  Thank you all.

My relationship with my Higher Source that I call God has grown and flourished over the years. Life’s questions get answered and this curious woman has had many questions.  Thank you, God.

My list wouldn’t be complete if I didn’t acknowledge all those who I struggled with over the years. You taught me I cared enough to understand more and because of that am a good person within. Thank you for lessons learned.

This list would not be complete unless I acknowledged how I love our home, our neighbors, and the area in which we live. It is a beautiful place to be. Thank you, Puyallup.

There are so many others and so many more blessings, that I haven’t acknowledged: know I love you and am grateful for you all.

Last, and most important—my husband of almost 35 years, Lance, who has been an extraordinary man in my life. He has loved me, supported me, cared for me, comforted me, laughed with me, and shared a wonderful life on so many levels. Kiss, kiss, thank you for being you, Lance.

Thank you, my Facebook website friends . I’m grateful for your continued interest in my blogs and writings. You have motivated me to keep learning and growing because I feel I have so much to give back.
